How can I get custom material properties to a drawing?
We are triing to orgainize several material databases we have inour department.
We have the SW stuff. We have an Excel file with yeild strengthsand thermal stuff. We are starting another listing the universalnames around the world. And we have one that lists the % ofchemical elements that make up the material.
I've considered creating a database that holds everything thengenerates an XML file as the SW material file. This would work butit doesn't get then info to the drawing and end users would have touse the database to lookup info.
I then though why not use the SW material database taking advantageof the material custom properties and the application data tabs.
But how do I access these and get them to the drawing?
