I guess it's a sign of the times, our sales are way down andour company is looking to cut costs where ever they can. Ourmaintenance contract is up the end of this month and I've been toldwe won't be renewing at the present time.
So here's my question, I'm running 2008 SP 5 without any problems,it looks like I'll be able to download and install 2009 SP 1 beforeour contract runs out, but that's what I'll be locked into, I won'tbe able to get any of the future service packs. I'm thinking I'lldo a separate install, keeping 2008. I'm a little leery of runningthe conversion wizard and actually upgrading all my files to 2009though.
What's your thoughts 2008 sp 5 vs. 2009 sp 1.
