So I created my own titleblock to match our 2D titleblock.
In the 2D titleblock I have a block that includes the company logoand all the info that will change for each new drawing, such astitle, dwg no, rev level - you get the idea. I included the logo sothat if all of the fields are blank, then the user can stilldoubleclick the logo and get the dialog box in which all of theinfo can be added.
In my SW titleblock I am trying to figure out how to make theproperties work for me. I've tried several different things to"link" the notes, but cannot figure out how to actually geteverything "linked" to any particular dialog box. I want everythingto be accessible in one place - names, dates, titles, everything sothe user doesn't have to click on each note and edit it.
Being a new user to SW, I have determined that nothing is as easy Iwould like it, and simply clicking around isn't going to get methere. I've found some references to \$prp but it isn't clear how touse it.
Is there a step by step reference somewhere that will tell me"click this" and then "type this" and "click this" in order for meto get all of my info into one "bucket" for user edits?
Thanks!SolidworksDrawings And Detailing
