Using SW2009 SP2.0
Rendering powercoated sheetmetal assemblies.
The appearances were applied within SW with Realview enabled.Everything applied in this context transfered over to PV without ahitch. The model has plastic parts as well as cast aluminum andLED-backlit pushbuttons. No problems.
However, I can't seem to find a way to control the scale of thepowdercoat texture. When you apply it within SW there are no"handles" with which to alter this. This means that small parts geta nice small texture and large parts get very large chips. It looksbad and you have to play with it in Photoshop to soften it up a bitand make it passable.
I'd like to do some closeups but just can't as the texture problemwill be very visible in that case.
Any ideas? Did I miss something fundamental?
Thanks,
-Martin
