In 2007 I am applying some heavy textures to parts in anassembly. It seems much easier to set the mapping of thetexture at thepart level, and I get it just the way I want it, butcoming backinto the assembly, the size of the mapping and surfacefinish seemsto keep resetting itself to a much smaller value. Thishappens if I edit any other shader in the assembly and isonlynoticeable when rendering.
