Hey guys we have been told our antivirus is causingsignificant slowdown in the opening of solidworks models due to ourSymantec antivirus not being able to exclude files names with morethan 3 characters in the file extension. Since turing off theantivirus is not an option does anybody know if there is a bypassor a setting in symantec to fix this? We have been unsuccessfulfinding anything. Will this really cause a significant increase inthe opening of assemblies?
