Update:
Drum roll... And we have a winner!
Congratulations to @SS for winning SWPUC33. In this video I explained why he deserves the Power User certificate. Apologies for the video's quality - I recorded it as I was analyzing the entries.
Kudos to all participants. Fantastic techniques; I learned a lot from you.

Hello Power Users and welcome to the 33rd Power User Challenge. This is the best opportunity to brainstorm with your peers and showcase your talent in SOLIDWORKS.
It also offers you the change to earn one of the coveted Power User Certificates like the one below:
Challenge Description
The August 2023 challenge is very simple: Reverse Engineer the "Uncoiling Vase" using the information and pictures below.
- The bounding box of the vase has the following dimensions: 218 x 218 x 186 mm
- Just a helpful piece of information: if the vase would be made out of pure gold, its mass would be 7457 grams
- You can use only SOLIDWORKS or xDesign to achieve the result.
- Upload your models to this thread before August 31st at 11:59pm ET. Feel free to discuss your techniques with the rest of us.
- The models will be judged based on (but not limited to):
- Accuracy
- Rebuild time
- Elegance of design intent
- Robustness of design intent (what if I want to change dimensions or the number of perforations)
- Innovative modeling techniques (we all want to learn new things!)
- If you fully comment your FeatureManager tree you get extra points. Would be great if anyone can understand the merits of your technique. Why is your model the best?
- Do not wait too long: when using similar techniques - the first to submit the model wins.
Good luck!
