Sweeps & Lofts

Hi Everyone,

We were hoping to anounce the remaining winners during the first week of October, but sorry this came about a couple of weeks late.  So, let's get to it!

The winner of the Sweeps & Lofts competition is Tom Helsley.

Here's Tom's own argument for why he should win:

I think this model deserves to win because:

1) it utilizes the new assembly swept cut functionality, and

2) it is not just a simple sweep - it requires the use of a swept surface feature as reference geometry to create the final assembly swept cut.

3) it creatively & artistically incorporates the theme of this competition.

Great job, Tom.  I'll be contacting you soon about your \$200 prize.

And tips for everyone else for next year...

- Incorporate elements of the What's New whenever possible.

- Explain your submissions.  What should we be looking for?  Why should yours win?

I hope that helps!

Kaamil
