I did some test on sw2009 x64 ( running on xp64) - and allseemed stable etc so have started to work on a production assembly.
However very frequently if I hit the 'traffic light' rebuild , theclock on sw goes goes round and round; and looking at the processes, it seems SW is 'not responding'. When I do a forced quit, thepart will have saved correctly with the change. I have used the thetask scheduler to rebuild all the associated files in the assemblyto make sure there is no glitch in them.
Is there a known problem that causes this ? - or just a quirk ofthis assembly.
If any one has a quick answer I would be grateful as a I considerhow I proceed:-
Rebuild the model from scratch in sw2009 if it is actually a modelspecific problem,
or
tinker some more if its an sw2009 problem.
