I dragged an annotation favorite containing my standard notes into a drawing and the note numbers where indented all kinds of crazy: (see image comparing 2015 to 2014)

But that's not the deal.  I edited the note, selected the numbered list and went into paragraph properties and WOW-they simplified text indenting, added paragraph spacing and really cleaned things up!  Now you have good control over spacing, adding borders to notes doesn't throw off the indentation and it's, overall, a lot easier to understand.
