Hello,
I'm developing some preliminary design part files that willultimately be used for final production parts when I'm happy withthe design. (Inj mold plastic housing assy)
I create the basic box shape, use Split to create the various top, bottom, bezels, ect. and detail the derived parts, no problems.
Then I want to save a copy of the existing design, but create a newversion to develop further. I used Pack & Go to make copies andrename the files using SWKS Explorer.
The problem is that the "Resulting Bodies" name in the renamedparts don't update to the new part name. It still shows the name ofthe old version part.Is there a way to update the Resulting Body names when creatingnew renamed versions? If I redefine the Split feature to a newname, it gives me a brand new derived part and I loose all the workI 've done on the Split parts.
Hope that's clear.
Thanks,
Tony
