Hello All,

I am using the split line tool to split a large non-circular ring into 10 sections.

The split line tool is adding its own hidden split line to the feature, and I am not sure how to prevent this from happening.

Attached images show the following:

1. The non-circular ring and its 10 section split line drawing with one line at 9oclock set as a construction line to highlight the issue

2. A close up of one of the 10 section split lines at approx 10oclock behaving normally

3. A close up of the 10 section split line at 9oclock behaving strangely

4. Editing the feature which shows the split line at 9oclock inserting itself

Does anyone know why this may be happening and how to prevent it?

The 10 split lines are perpendicular to the centreline sketch which drives the rest of the model's features.
