Hi there,
I have been trying to run some cooling simulations as part of my thesis, I have been having an issue where, when I run a coo-flow-pack-warp simulation, the cooling results will not appear. I don't get any error messages that I know of so i can't see why the results wont show. I have tried several things to fix this including:
- re-meshing the part,
- restarting SolidWorks,
- restarting the computer,
- trying it on a different machine,
- deleting the results and running it again
- running the missing simulation on its own,
- creating a solid body for the cooling channel and then giving it a cooling channel domain in the meshing parameters,
- Creating a simplified block of polymer to see if it was my part causing the problem
- changing the coolant
- changing the part material
- changing the mould material
None of these have been able to fix the issue and I am unsure as to where to go next, If any of you could offer any assistance it would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
Edit:
Hi there,
I just wanted to make this edit in case anybody else has this issue in the future. It turned out the issue was a bug in the service pack the college had installed. They had SolidWorks 2019 SP 3, when I was given a download for SP 5, the simulations worked without issue.
