I am trying to create a document form with variables that are associated with Word Document "Custom Properties".  I am having great difficulty with trying to get them to behave and update properly.

I have been trying to find a resource with more information and see if there is a way to tie into Word's XML data or creating a file XSLT with XML format.  I am not a great programmer, but I feel if I have a sample I can start to understand and work things out.
