Billington Welding & Manufacturing is one of Central California's premier custom metal fabrication facilities. We have been exceeding commercial manufacturing  needs since 1969. BWM, Inc. is actively seeking an individual to fill the open position of SolidWorks Drafter.

Summary: This position is responsible for various tasks in the Engineering department.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years previous experience SolidWorks drafting, engineering or mechanical design
• Must have comprehensive knowledge in SolidWorks 2008 or above
• Must have strong knowledge of 2D CAD program and Microsoft Office
• Ability to work efficiently and interact with manager and employees at all levels of the organization, as well as customers and vendors
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Working knowledge of conveyors and food processing equipment a plus
• Must have organizational skills
• Bilingual is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Local travel to customer' site for verification of field measurements
• Candidate will specify and order materials, provide deisgn/engineering quotes to project manager and customers
• Responsible for accurate measurements and drawings
• Other responsibilities as assigned

• Lift in excess of 50 pounds
• Pass drug test and physical
