Description: Immediate F/T Solidworks Designer position is open within a ~27 yr old small medical device company to launch new microsurgery products and to sustain existing products.  Great opportunity for the right candidate to quickly rise to be a valued company team member with high visibility.

Responsibilities:  Effectively create machined, E/M, etc components and assemblies using SolidWorks.  Assist with analyzing products and recommending product improvements.  Implement ECOs, improving product performance, patient/surgeon safety, and/or product reliability.  Research alternative and improved technologies.  Some vendor mgmt is anticipated. 

Requirements:  AA or BSME (preferred) with 5+ yrs SolidWorks experience.  SolidWorks CSWP and dimensioning/tolerancing certification are preferred but will consider trading additional experience for the right candidate.  Prior AutoCAD experience a plus. Successfully passing < 1 hr SolidWorks standardized online and company tests.
