I've done a quick search on this and found surprisinglylittle. But compared to other applications, SolidWorks takes a longtime to boot up, especially the first time.
I can imagine this is to speed things up while you're working - butdoesn't this chew memory on modules/functions you'll never need insome sessions?
I'm not saying it's wrong -
I'm also not saying other CAD packages load any faster -
