We recently rolled out XP SP3 to our workstations.
When our users try to connect to the license server, the get a"could not obtain a license for SolidWorks" message. But once Ishut off the firewall on the license server, then the users canconnect.
I double-checked to see if I had the "this computer is behind afirewall" selected in the SLM, which it was.
