I'm posting for the first time on this forum, but I looked atthe existing posts and didn't find an answer.
What I'm trying to do is quite simple: I want to insert a part(which is a pipe going thru two plates) which will make a hole inthe external plate and a bigger hole in an other plate. In fact thepart is only a sketch because I don't want the pipe to be in theassembly, just the holes.
I made a "smart component" 'nozzle holes.sldprt' with threedifferent configurations to insert the holes in both plates.
In the 'nozzle proto.sldprt', which is the dummy assembly where Icreated the "smart component", both holes update when I change theconfiguration of 'nozzle holes'.
When I insert 'nozzle holes' in 'assembly test.sldasm' and insert'smart components', holes appear in both plates but the hole in theoutside plate always keeps configuration 2 dimension, no matterwhich way I configure the parts.
Just to have an idea where the problem is, I edited the holessketch in 'assembly test.sldasm' to see the constraints aren'tlinked to the same body; the hole working properly is constrainedto Nozzle holes-1, the other is constrained to Nozzle holes<1>.
Anybody has an idea how to make this work well?
