SLUG - Solidworks Louisville User Group Meeting
August 7th, 2012
Our third meeting for 2012 is coming up on August 7th, Tuesday 6:30 - 8:30 pm at Samtec.
BACK IN LOUISVILLE AFTER A SUCCESFULL COMPETITION:
Engineers of Tomorrow
The Engineers of Tomorrow team will be in to tell us about this year’s competition and tell us how they use SolidWorks to help them design their robot for the competition. They placed 2nd in the St Louis Regionals and are off next to the Kentucky State Fair.
Here’s a link to YouTube to watch them in action: Team 2783
Bill Reuss of 3DVision will also be on hand for a discussion on SolidWorks Plastics:
Do you design plastic parts or injection molds? Launched in the Spring of 2012, SolidWorks Plastics software helps users predict and avoid costly manufacturing defects during the earliest stages of part and mold design. CAE Technical Specialist Bill Reuss of 3DVision Technologies will demonstrate the capabilities of SolidWorks Plastics and how it can help Engineers and Designers improve the quality of their injection molded part designs, eliminate costly mold rework and decrease time to market for products.
Please RSVP to paul@mccroreydigital.com so that we can get an accurate count for food purposes.
