I have a part that has about a 3 sec rebuild time and is 13.2Mb on the server. It has a part inserted into it that is used tolocated several sketches/features, so there are quite a fewin-context relations.
There are about 400 taps, some of which are at an angle to thesurface they are in. The drawing for it is about 10.2 Mb on theserver.
All of this, I consider not very demanding to SolidWorks, however,in the drawing, whenever I do anything, it pauses for 30 sec to 3minutes. I have turned all of the threads to draft quality, whichhas helped, but doesn't always show what I need to show as far asthreads.
Does anyone have any suggestions for what might be causing thedelays? Is it the in-context relations? Taps on a plane that enterthe surface at an angle? There are also several vertical breaks, could this be part of the cause for the delays?
Thanks,
