i am building arrays in an assembly, anywhere from 10x10 to30x50 of very simple shapes that are merely surfaces. i am usingthe array to layout panels that are 3'x6's for flat industrialroofs. I often have to eliminate some items from the pattern toavoid obstructions. I then place the array it in a drawing toextract quantities and weights and operate on them in a BOM.

i am astounded at how slow the array updates take. these can bemultiple minutes on initial creation. my machine is not the latestand greatest, but it is by no means a slouch.

i have the same issue on bot hthe laptop and the desktop.

have any of you experienced this sort of behavior?
