When I am sketching a rectangle (or any closed lineargeometry) SolidWorks draws it as four individual lines rather thana single geometry and the corners are not necessarily closed, thatis I have to sometimes select the corner points and merge them toclose the rectangle.

Also if I drew a line starting at one of those corners, the pointwould turn red making me think I am coincident with the point &it may appear so, but on zooming it I see they are not.

Any help is appreciated, I am using the 2007-08 Student Edition.
