Any number of people are going to say "what kind of idiotdoesn't know that?", but I just learned that something that hasbugged me for years is easily done.
It seems like about half the time that I start editting a part inan assembly, I start a sketch before I remember to start edittingthe part. Only when I have finished the sketch do I realize that itis in the assembly, not in the part. I never knew that I could justdo a ctrl-x on the assembly sketch and then ctrl-v on the partplane that I want it on to save all of that work.
I can't believe that someone like me who constantly rags onsoftware writers who don't follow the standard Windows paradigmnever figured that one out. To quote Bugs Bunny, "what a maroon!"
How many other simple features like that have I managed to miss inthe last nine and a half years?SolidworksGeneral
