Shortcutpath Internal Error 2756 Solved - Easiest Workaround

Ok, the fix is pretty easy. If you've encountered this erroryou've mostly likely already have Explorer 2007 sp0.0 installed. Goback to the installation manager, let it detect that you want toupgrade Explorer to 2007 sp5.0, before hitting "NEXT" leave thewindow alone and use "Add/Remove Programs" in your control panel toremove the Explorer 2007 sp0.0 installation. This will get rid ofthe program and the folders that are creating the 2756 error. Whenyou're done with the uninstall of sp0.0, go back to theinstallation manager and click next, and let it install sp5.0.There you go!

If you try to uninstall sp0.0 before opening the installationmanager, it won't detect any Explorer software to upgrade, so it'simportant to have sp0.0 installed before opening the installationmanager. This is also because you can no longer download Explorer2007, so the SPR Solution (download 2007 sp5.0 after uninstall) isno longer applicable.
