Here are the results of the Solidworks 2010 vs Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 5.0 Shootout (http://www.designengine.com/feature.php?feature=97) which took place in Chicago on 06/30/2010. I believe it was a fair demonstration although I suspect some on both sides (Pro-E or SW) will claim it was biased.
On area that could have been explored in more detail in the summary was the write-up on SW fill tool versus Pro-E's N-sided surface. The fill tool is amazing as can create continuous curvature between three and even two sided surfaces.

SolidWorks surfacing capabilities have come a long way. Does anyone know why the ability to create conics (with rho value) have not yet been added to SW? If SW added sketched conics, than Pro-E users would not be able to use that argument against SW. I use to use them myself in Pro-E.
