Rotating View Quirk in '08

'08 SP1.1
This is hard to explain, so please bear with me...
I had no trouble with this in '07...
So here's a workflow of what's going on...
1. New blank Drawing
2. Place a view of a part, any part.
3. Click "rotate View" button and select the view.
4. Rotate the view say 45°. The 2 options don't matter, ordon't make a difference in the behavior.
5. Draw a line on the drawing, not attached to anything in theview.
6. Select and endpoint of the line and drag it to a point on thepart in the view.
7. Watch how the line dissapears from the part view and appears offinto space. It'll probably be somewhere in the lower right ofdrawing. The Re-Appearance location depends on the angle yourotated the view..
8. Select a point on the line.
9. Try to move the line. See how it behaves like it's stillattached to the part.. But it's off in space...

I never had this happen in '07..
Previously when i'd drag the line to a rotated view, the line wouldstay on the part/view..
I do this often for drawing vertical section line on a rotatedview.. So the line is vertical in respect to the drawing ratherthan the part..
Drawing the line directly on the part/view and making it verticalmakes the line vertical with the part, not the drawing...

Does this happen to anyone else?
