I want to make a rigidity study. I mean putting a load with rigidremote load (load is outside the part) and find back thedisplacement of this load. I'd like to compare 2 parts (rigidity vsweight).
My only alternative is to make another part threated as solid andbonded to my grasping points, putting a point load on this part andfinding its displacement at this same point after a regular stressanalysis. This seems cumbersome for something usual for me.
There is no way to put a remote load, find back the displacement ofthis remote load and get the force/displacement ratio directly?
