One of our users is trying to open a small SW2007 assemblybutgetting errors for missing references. Theweirdthing is that SW is prompting him for obsolete files thataretwo years old and only existed when the assembly was aprototype. The missing part files are not part ofthecurrent assembly he is trying to open. All otheruserscan open the assembly with no problems. He can too, ifwerename the assembly.
Since changing the name fixes the problem, I'm thinking thatSW isactually substituting file information from a cached orhistoryfile with the same name. Is that possible? Ifso, howcan it be fixed?SolidworksAssemblies
