I'm having an issue with a particular application of the Pack and Go feature, which I'm using on my top-level assembly. This assembly, as well as subassemblies and parts within it, are all linked to a single external "equations.txt" file, which I use to control variables across these components.
Now, ideally, when I Pack and Go my assembly, Solidworks would update the references of all these files to link to the new equations file that has been created by the Pack and Go operation. And for the most part, this is true. However, suppressed components still link to the original .txt file when I Pack and Go, and I can see in the Pack and Go dialogue that there is no link to the new "equations.txt"
Circled above, all three "roofing panel" parts are linked to equations.txt; however, the two suppressed parts don't show a link to the new file in the Pack and Go dialogue.
Is there a fix or workaround to get Solidworks to update this link for suppressed components?
