This is a strange one.
I put together an assembly and built several parts within that assembly. One of the parts in the assembly was sent to us from one of our vendors. After the assembly was put together, I had to change out the vendor-supplied CAD model with a new model they sent. When I did that, it obviously broke a lot of mates. I fixed all of those and everything works except one part. That part was drawn on one face of the vendor-supplied model. Since I swapped that part out, it created an error with the InPlace mate. To remedy that, I generally go into the sketch for the Base-Flange and reassign the sketch plane. Oddly enough, that doesn't work this time. I also notice that the origin and front plane of the drawn part is not on the correct plane (of the vendor-supplied part).
So, the question is, how can I reset the origin for the drawn part? There are no other mates on this part that would normally cause the InPlace mate to not resolve.
Here is the broken InPlace mate on the Front Plane of the drawn part.
Here is a screenshot showing the proper sketch plane for the drawn part. This should set the origin and align the front plane, correct?
