Could anyone please help me out on my below requirement?

I am not very much familiar about the loft cut feature and because of which I am stuck up in one of the step and not able to proceed further.

I have a hollow cylinder. To that cylinder, I need a slot cut wherein it has to display an Oblong / Obround slot when viewed from the top (See attached image).

(THIS OBROUND SLOT HAS TO BE DONE USING "LOFT CUT" FEATURE ONLY)
