No Support For Vista64 in 2008 release

This is week old news.
I noticed this on a bulletin posted last week regarding Solidworks 2008 release
Please note that the 64-bit (x64) versions of Windows Vista are not currently supported, nor is the use of the x32 version of SolidWorks 2008 with x64 Vista versions. Furthermore, installation of the x32 version of SolidWorks 2008 on an x64 Vista Operating System is blocked, since this is not currently a supported configuration.

I was really relying on the 2008 version functioning on Vista 64
I have been using the Vista Pre Release on a Vista Ultimate 64 and it works great!

Does anyone know what the future is for 64 bit Solidworks and Vista?Solidworks Administration
