I'm trying to model a thread for the first time, on a neckabout 1" diameter, with a cap to screw onto it.

Are there any tutorials on making threads? Any standards to followin terms of pitch, height, turns, etc?

Once the thread is made, how do you go about making the matchingthread on the cap?
