I just upgraded to SW 2009 SP2. I have a part that I want to mirrorand have a left and right version. I tried using mirror part butended up with 2 separate files.
So I tried a configuration. I highlight the features I wanted (whathappened to the solid body feature that would select all features?) and rmb selected configure feature. I got second part config"right". I then mirrored that part with break link
selected. In the feature tree there was move copy feature from theoriginal part
showing sketch lines. I suppressed that and ended up with just theright hand part.
I selected show config 1. The move/copy feature was present also(left part config)and will toggle betwee left and right part whensuppresed or unsupressed. I know
I'm close but what step am I missing. I want config 1 to be lefthand and config 2 to be right hand in one file.
