Hi Everyone,

I am wondering how I can make changes to an assembly and save it without updating other assemblies associated with it. For example, I want to edit this assembly,

When I remove the part from the assembly highlighted in blue below

And save it, I don't want to convert these other files to the current version. I need to make engineering changes by changing dash numbers or revisions so I need a log of the different configurations.

I am new to Solidworks and don't want to mess up the previous parts and assemblies at my workplace.
