I don't have 3DExperience Solidworks for Makers, so I can't post to that community forum. I'd like to know if someone can explain what the exact issue is with opening Makers files in regular Solidworks and vice versa. It seems likely to me that DS just very poorly described the issue, and the only difference is the watermarking.

I have seen Makers open EDU files, and so I assume it's the other way around too. And obviously regular Solidworks has always been able to open and edit EDU files and the other way around too. The thing I haven't seen is sometime trying to open Makers files in Regular Solidworks or the other way around.

Can someone post their experience between the two platforms?
