I have seen this issue multiple times on the forum and I've also wanted a solution for myself so I built this set of block stencil characters utilizing only lines & arcs.  This will likely be of interest to anyone who works in sheet metal.  All English language capital letters & number characters are included.  The characters are all 1" height, 0.1" line width - convenient for using the block scaling feature.  The zip & rar files each have the same files so no need to unpack both, take what works on your machine.
