Hi group,

I'm having trouble making a smart component of mine to alibrarypart.  The component has over 20 configurations and theonlysmart part of it is the auto size of the hole.


After successfully making the smart component I add the partto mylibrary.  I do this from the "defining assembly"sincethis seems to be the only place from where it works.  IfI justopen the smart component and say add to library, thecomponent nowin the library does not auto size itself.

So, I go back and in the feature tree say edit definingassembly bythe smart component feature and when that assembly opensI make itto a library part from there.

Now I can use the library part in an assembly and it autosizes...BUT I can only do this one time.... when I try to save theassemblyit automatically asks me to save the smart component...even if Iclose out of the assembly without saving, the next time Itry toadd the library part to an assembly, the ability to auto sizeisgone.  And when I open the part in the library by itself,myconfigurator table is empty....

Is anyone else had this problem??  Once I got it towork, thanall my color where gone from my configurations, I wentback andredid those, than I lost the ability to autosize again...


I have scanned everywhere for detail instructions of how tomakethe smart component to a library part without success. Doesanyone know of any help??
