Our drawing templates include layers for Prototype, InRevision, &c; the appropriate layer is turned on/off as needed.
When the layer is changed, the drawing does not update unless therebuild button is pressed (at least once: sometimes the firstgo-round merely superimposed the newly- on layer over the newly offlayer). And not just on the screen, but out of the plotter, too.
Closing and re-opening the file has no effect; it must be rebuilt.
No big deal? There's no indication (i.e. icon in task manager) totell you a rebuild is needed.SolidworksDrawings And Detailing
