Kern County SOLIDWORKS User Group and High School CAD Competition Pictures from March 13 & 14, 2014 at Bakersfield Collage

Just wanted to share some pictures. Good turn out with 29 total at user group including Companies, Collage Students, and High School Teachers. March 13

Agenda was:

• 7:15pm – 8:00pm:  Bakersfield Collage Tour of Engineering & Technology Center
• 8:00pm – 9:00pm:  Presentation by Digital Dimensions on SolidWorks Weldments

High School CAD Competition had four schools with over 40+ students. March 14. Sad part is most schools are teaching AutoDesk products so most taking either hand drawing, AutoCAD, Inventor, Revit, and Sketch-up. SOLIDWORKS needs to do a LOT better in Bakersfield, CA. Most companies use SOLIDWORKS but the high schools are teaching AutoDesk?
