If I make a flat surface I would like to be able to draw trimlines and divide my surface into multiple bodies. This would save alot of time when setting up for FEA with surfaces that intersect.Similar to the split feature (for solid bodies) or the split line(except it remains one body).
The surface feature could be setup within the Trim Surface featureby just allowing you to keep all of the surfaces and splitting itinto multiple bodies.
I think this would save alot of time with FEA setup of intesectingsurfaces within a model since each surface has to be broken up ateach intersecion.
If there is another way to do this let me know but otherwise helpme push this ti SWX as an important enhancement.SolidworksSurfacing
