How to two cylinders togethter?

I am trying to weld two machined cylinders together to form aT. The upright part is a custom threaded/machined part with a crosshole thru the part a one end. The other part is a cylinder with ahole along the length of the axis. This "tube" is inserted into thethreaded parts cross hole and then a fillet weld is placed aroundthe intersetction of the two parts. I can get this to work in theweldment enviornment by inserting the tube into the threaded bodypart. But then I can't get the Bill of materials to work in thedrawing. Not sure if this is correct way to do this.
Then I have tried to place both parts into an assembly and matethem together. Then I tried to insert assembly feature weld bead.It does not let me make the weld bead due to the part sticking outboth sides. I get the following error. "Welld bead not constructedbecause specification defines multiple beads"
I still trying to figure out when to use weldment vs assemblyinsert weldbead. Any suggestions to help me out.

Thanks
