Hello all.

Bumped into this shop-floor problem recently and wanted to know how to approach this problem in SimulationXpress.

Given below is a picture of cylindrical steel cores more known as spools in metal industry.

Considering that the coil weighs approx. 3 tons each, how can we simulate that a spool of below details can withstand the load without any buckling?
