Hello, I have an interesting question. I had the opposite problem before. Where I wanted to hide the cut list item from a part in my BOM. Now I want to do the opposite and it doesnt seem as straight forward.

I want to exclude position 1 and 3 in this instance. They are individual parts, but they're nothing more than a length of box profile and round stock respectively. So I just want to keep the "cut list member" on the BOM and not the part itself. 

So.. How do I keep this part hidden by default? I know I can select the row and use "hide selected". I believe it has something to do with promoting the cut list member but I don't know how to do this.

PS: On an unrelated note. How do I post a thread as a question instead of as a discussion? I would like to highlight the reply that is the solution to my problem
