How does Reference Geometry's "Center of Mass" calculate CM?

Hello, not sure if this is the best place to ask but hopefully y'all can help.

I have an assembly with parts of different materials and I want to find the CM. I have the material set for each sub part. Will reference geometry's center of mass take into account each part's density (ie each part's different masses)? Or does it just look at the total geometry of the assembly, treating each part as the same density?

Thank you for your help.
