We are using a Roland MDX-40 scanner/rapid prototyperwithSolidworks Office Premium. The scanner touches the surface ofanobject with a needle to generate meshes. I am looking for asimpleprimer of what one does from the starting point of having ascan. Iwould like to bring the image into Solidworks and manipulateit,but am not sure of the process to complete on the mesh to makeitinto a form that Solidworks can manipulate (and by manipulate,Imean trim unwanted scan areas, adding features, etc.). Cananyonegive me a simple run through?
