I am working with some files that were designed in Catia. Itwas saved from Catia as a .STP file. When I import the file into SW2008, I am asked if I want to run Import Diagnostics on the part. When I hit "Yes," there are typically a few faulty faces. I press"attempt to heal all," and the faulty faces get a green check mark.Under the message box, the message "No faulty faces or gaps remainin the geometry" is displayed.
The issue I'm running into here is that I can't do anything withthe software at this point. I'm not sure if I'm missing a step, butthere is no "accept" or "ok" button in the Import Diagnosticsscreen.
SolidWorks does not allow sketching, feature creating, or evenevaluation of the part. I'm stuck here, and I have no idea what todo.
We have received files from several customers that I haveencountered this problem on. The customers use various CAD packagesranging from SW 2006 and 2008 to Catia V5, CADKey and a few otherpackages.
When the parts are giving me an issue like this, I typically passit down to someone who likes Key Creator, and they don't run intoany Issues.
