General UI Feedback

Some big changes this year and most of them very welcome, resizing selection boxes in the fillet command, selected contours etc and overall I think the new UI looks very clean, will take some getting used to the brightness and lack of colour but i'm surprised how much i like it so far given it is such a big change.

Breadcrumbs are so intuitive too didn't need to look at the whats new guide just instantly used them to edit the correct feature from an assembly, makes me wonder how much i will use the Feature manager going forward.

However inevitably there are a few things that bug me straight away so i figured i'd post here to see what others think.

The first and it may seem silly the SOLIDWORKS Logo doesn't line up for me! (1920x1080  Win 7 100% DPI Scaling) A bit like having a drawing border with lines that don't line up it really bothers me somehow! Just move it up and across to the left a bit!

Second is Material sharing a similar symbol to the display manager/ photoview. We spent a long time trying to differentiate materials and appearances in users minds now it seems like a step backwards

Third the sketch icon just doesn't shout sketch to me, on the one hand it is great that the edit sketch icon is significantly different but is it just me who doesn't think it stands out as being one of the most used icons?

Also on the sketch topic when not in a sketch is it clear enough to the user what can be selected or not?

Below i can select any of the sketch tools like line, circle etc, but not sketch fillet, trim, offset etc.

This is 2015 for comparison, generally this is my main complaint with the lack of colour, perhaps darker/ bolder lines/ text would help.

Sure i will find more things a like and others i am not so keen on but this is just my list so far.
