I am using the "remote force" feature in CosmosWorks (2007SP5) for the first time. I've applied the force I want at therequired distance, using the "rigid" option in a static analysis.
Once the analysis is finished, I can plot the displacement asusual. My question is if i can now query for the displacement thatthe remote force underwent as a result.
I'm not exactly sure how the remote force is treated in theanalysis - does Cosmos assume that the force DOESN"T move? or, DOESthe force move because the face to which it was attached has nowdeformed (my assumption)?
Thanks,
